Gateway to Leadership©, a summer internship program that places outstanding students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Wall Street’s top firms, has awarded the top prize in its annual financial management case competition to the team which best addressed the need for retirement solutions for small business owners. The winning team was announced at Gateway to Leadership’s closing ceremony in Washington D.C., which culminated the 10-week internship program. According to the Census Bureau and the Small Business Administration, there are approximately 60 million self-employed Americans in the U.S.
