Eligibility Requirements
The Gateway to Leadership Program Eligibility Requirements:
- A full-time undergraduate student, in good standing, attending one of America’s Historically Black Colleges & Universities. The student must be a rising junior/senior for the fall of 2009.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Active in civic & scholastic organizations (including the NAACP).
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- A letter of recommendation from either the University/College President and/or cabinet member, Dean of the applicant’s school and/or two tenured professors at the school.
- Copy of an original transcript and a recent graded writing sample.
- Good character.
- Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of excel.
- A firm interest in a career in the financial services industry.
- A resume/bio and a professional photo (head shot only).
