Program Requirements

Participate in the host firm’s work in the following areas:

  • Asset Management
  • Research
  • Managed Accounts
  • Trading
  • Capital Markets
  • Marketing and Sales
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Compliance

Financial Support

  • Intern Compensation
  • Travel: Host firm will pay for the travel costs to the orientation session in Washington, D.C. in May, to and from the host firm, and, to and from the concluding session in Boston.
  • Housing: Host firm will pay for student housing. Gateway may be of assistance to recommend housing providers.
  • Program support fee. This fee reimburses Gateway for costs associated with the administration of the program including the orientation session in Washington, D.C., travel of the Gateway administrators to colleges for student interviews/selection, speakers and their travel costs at orientation/concluding sessions, the administration of the financial management case competition, awards to the competition winners, and production of special materials/offerings for the interns throughout their summer work experience.
  • Intern(s) will be granted reasonable work time (4-8 hours) weekly to participate in Gateway activities (i.e. financial management case competition, executive luncheons and dinners, net meetings, etc.)
